The min. content of Mn is 1.10% and the average 1,20 to 1,35%.

V + Nb max: 0,10%

V+ Nb + Ti ≤ 0,12%

Materials With V+Nb+0,06% and V+Nb+Ti≤0,07% can be supplied from the mills on request at higher cost particularly for bigger wall thicknesses.  A lot of material in stock meet these requirements.

 

X65Q Other elements

Deliberate addition of any other elements is not permitted. As 0,02% max. -Sb, Pb, Bi 0,010% max. B0,0005% max. C is added for desulphurisation purpose and is Limited to 0,005% max.

CE = C+MN/6 + (Cr+Mo+V)/5 + (Cu+Ni)/15 ≤ 0,43 (Heat & Product)

Pcm = C + Si/30 + (Mn+Cu+Cr)/20 + Ni/60 + Mo/15 + V/10 + 5B ≤ 0,25 (Heat & Product)

A lot of the material in stock meet < 0,22
